Before attemtpting to reuse any content on the site, we encourage you to

Commercial Licenses
If you want to use content here for another commercial service, you must contact the content creator and clear those rights.
CityTools retains the copyright only for content generated by its staff members and certain specific member generated content -- such as ratings and other content not under the Creative Commons license. The details of this may be found in our
terms and conditions page.
However, the rights to content published under the Creative Commons license areas of CityTools -- such as news stories -- continues to reside with the creator. In addition, CityTools places much of its staff written material under the Creative Commons license as well.
When posting, the rights owner simply agrees to provide CityTools with a perpetual, non-exclusive right to present content submitted on the site. In addition, in the case of content submitted under the Creative Commons license, the member agrees to release the content under those terms.
Utlimately, however, the rights still belong to the original submitter and any commercial reuse of content must be cleared through the rights-holder.
The sole exception to the commercial restrictions is reserved for members of the CityTools news and classified networks service. When posting news stories -- and when posting any classified ad to the CityTools public networks -- members have the opportunity to flag the content for release on the public network.
Members who mark a story for distribution on the public networks expressly permit commercial publishing subscribers of CityTools to use such content in a limited manner. Restrictions to that use are covered in the "licenses" section of our
terms and conditions.
