First a few words of caution

Bear in mind that other members of the network rely on your network categories. Adding to them unexpectedly could cause confusion among your fellow network members.

The re-ordering of network categories is primarily cosmetic -- it just affects the order in which the options are displayed on CityTools, so that can be changed without too much concern.

Adding and re-ordering network categories

Head to the Maps management page and scroll down to the network you want to change.

Click on the link for "Add or reorder network categories." This will open a window in which your existing network categories are presented.
  • To reorder the categories, simply move them to the order that you want and click the "save categories" button
  • To add a category, type the new category in the box in the order that you want it, click "save categories" button.
Important: Remember to place one category per line!
