Sending a simple message to another publisher

Head over to the My Nets page and scroll down to the network you want to use.

Click on the "ignore, block or message member" link and a page will open offering you a list of other members. Beside each name there is a "send msg" link. Click it and a tool will open that allows you to send a message to that member.

All messages sent this way will appear in the "Messages" page.

Using the "Messages Page"

On the "Messages" management page you may read messages sent to you from other publishers as well as certain system messages -- for example if you have a public network when a new member signs up, you'll get a message to that effect.

In addition, if you are the administrator of a network that requires membership applications, you will find application messages in your message area. Links on these applications will allow you to approve the request, deny the request, or ask for more info.

The operation of the "Messages" page is straightforward. There are links to "clear" (remove) any message, links to approve requests to join a network, reply to a message, etc. These links are all quite self-explanatory.

Network administrators may send broadcast messages to every member of a network

To do so, head to the the network management page and scroll down to the network you want to contact. If that network has other members, there will be a link to "manage members" in the lower right side. Click that link and a page will open with the names of other members. At the top of the page there is a link to "send broadcast message" -- click that link to open a tool up that will allow you to send a message to all members.
