Once you finish signing up for publishing tools, you are taken to the publisher manager center on our site.

The easiest way to do this howto is to open up a second window where you will work on your network, while keeping a window open here to read the steps. To open a second window in the right starting place, right click on the "publisher manager center" link above and select "open link in new window."

Now you've got a window open to work in while this window remains reserved for our debonair banter.

The management center is where all the management pages reside – you can find them under the tabs on every page in the center.

You can always get back to the management center by clicking on the News/Class Networks link on the left menu anywhere inside of CityTools. We also encourage you to bookmark the mangement center as well.

Please take note of the tips in the right-hand column of most pages in CityTools. These change depending on what you're doing and give extra info to complete a task. If you click on a line in the tips, it expands with more information on the topic. Click the same line again to collapse the topic.

Under the Manage tab (the default page of the management center) you will be greeted by a nearly empty page at first. There is a reason. The “manage” tab is where you manage networks that you create. And since it's a new account, you haven't created any networks yet.

Of course, most publishers prefer to join existing networks, which you can do on the “Join Nets” tab.

In Step 3, you can either create a new network for other publishers or join an existing network. We suggest you consider creating a test network so you can see the process quickly. You can delete the test network later with a couple of clicks.

Choose whichever path appears right for you.
