The ancient Spanish city of Zaragoza, capital of Aragon, is playing host to Expo 2008 under the theme Water and Sustainable Development through Sept. 14. The city has long been aware of the importance of water to its civic well-being. It has three museums that focus on water in the Roman era and a fairly advanced system of 2,000-year-old water pipes and sewers.
