Fort Lauderdale police are asking for witnesses to a traffic accident that left one person in critical condition. At about 12:50 p.m., Deane Gualillo, 50, of Dania Beach was driving a 2004 Ford F150 westbound on Northeast 19th Street, according to Fort Lauderdale police. He stopped at the intersection with South Federal Highway, waited for traffic to clear, then began turning right, police said.
