History was made, over and over again at Bay Meadows. Saturday, that history will get sold off in pieces.

The 74-year-old track is being razed for development. But they're preparing the way by auctioning off nearly everything but the mortar, from the stadium seats and the winner's circle scale to the sign at the finish line.
